Armada Contracting has finalized the installation of hoarding at the King Abdulaziz Park site in Riyadh, marking a pivotal step toward the commencement of construction.
Spanning approximately 4.3 million square meters, King Abdulaziz Park is set to become one of Riyadh’s largest urban green spaces. The park’s design features six distinct themed gardens, including a 200,000-square-meter botanical garden housing over 200 native plant species. In line with the Green Riyadh initiative, the park will incorporate more than 2 million trees and shrubs, irrigated through a 1,350-kilometer recycled water network.
The park will also offer 30 sports facilities, 24 children’s play areas, and over 115 kilometers of pedestrian, jogging, and cycling paths, promoting a healthy lifestyle among residents. Additionally, the Munsiyah Tributary, an 11-kilometer branch of the Al-Sulai Valley, will traverse the park, enhancing its natural landscape.
With the hoarding installation complete, the project is now ready to move into the construction phase, with a focus on adhering to the highest standards of quality and sustainability to create a landmark development that enhances Riyadh’s urban landscape.
